This page will help turn on virtualization in your BIOS

  1. Enabling Virtualization

If you're looking to enable virtualization in your BIOS, we're here to guide you through the process. Let's first check if virtualization is already enabled on your system. Follow these steps:

  1. Open Task Manager.

  2. Navigate to the Performance tab.

  3. Look for the Virtualization status. If it shows as disabled, proceed to the next steps. If it's already enabled, you can skip to the next step.

Enabling Virtualization for Intel Users:

  1. Access your BIOS settings. To do this, restart your computer and look for the prompt to enter BIOS setup. The key to access BIOS may vary depending on your computer manufacturer (common keys include F2, F10, or Delete).

  2. Once in the BIOS settings, go to the Advanced tab and locate CPU Configuration.

  3. Within CPU Configuration, find the option for Intel Virtualization Technology and enable it.

  4. Remember not to exit the BIOS settings, as the next step requires you to remain in this environment.

Enabling Virtualization for AMD Users:

  1. Access your BIOS settings by restarting your computer and entering the BIOS setup using the appropriate key for your computer manufacturer (common keys include F2, F10, or Delete).

  2. Once in the BIOS settings, navigate to the Advanced tab and find CPU Configuration.

  3. Within CPU Configuration, locate the SVM Mode option and enable it.

  4. Remember not to exit the BIOS settings, as the next step requires you to remain in this environment.
